Only the finest dogs can be competitive in these field trials and we are dedicated to bring out the best in each dog. In order to do this, we devote a large amount of our time conditioning the dog both physically and mentally. Field trial spaniels must work the wind while covering the ground in quest for game. They must find game with precision and efficiency. They must accurately mark the fall of downed game and retrieve briskly and tenderly to hand. They must honor a brace mate and show good control at all times with minimal handling. Judges look for a dog the that performs nearly perfect.
